I was at the Tulsa gun show this weekend and I got to meet several of you there. I bought several things including a HKR that I bought from Newt Livesay directly.
What a knife! It is one big a** bowie knife. The blade is 81/2" long, 13/4" wide. It has a very comfortable black micarta handle. The blade material is 1095, triple drawn to Rc-59-60. The blade is parkerized. The sheath is kydex and set up for a variety of carry options. It came very sharp. This knife grows on you fast. I didn't like it the first time I picked it up, but I kept coming back to it. It is large and heavy, but very comfortable to hold and use. I'm
off to Peru tonight, I'll do a review when I get back.

Although it does not mindfully keep guard in the small mountain fields, the scarecrow does not stand in vain
