I have carried a Woo-ex (with a micarta handle) as a neck knife for some time now. It has been used for an incredible number of tasks. Last week it was used to pry the bottoms out of file cabinet type lockers while doing a drug sweep in conjunction with our K-9 unit.
Although I would never recommend a knife as a pry bar, it was what I had to use at the time. It survived with no damage. That is a major tribute to Newt's awesome heat treat.
It is used daily to open packages, as an "exacto knife" and for a variety of daily cutting tasks. It has never let me down. The micarta handle is super comfortable and provides a sure grip even when wet.

I agree 100 percent. I constantly try out and then end up trading neck knives, though one I'd never give up is my Woo.

I agree. My Woo goes with me everywhere but at work. It would go to work too, but that sort of thing is prohibited on state property. The Woo is tough as nails. I have the Executive model also, with the micarta handles.
Hey Chad, soon we can get those with red micarta handles.

I've owned and/or given away at the very least a good half dozen Woos- One of my former teammates (NYC Transit Police) carries his constantly & I've used mine to peel up tile, knock dried cement off of tire rims (parked at a construction site), slice pizza & pin elevator doors open. The Woo just begs to take a beating. At $25.00 you can beat the poop out of one, not worry about the damage & still be amazed when it bounces back for more. A good damned chunk of steel.

The woo hangs from my steering wheel - and I taught my wife how to deploy it.

For the money - there isn't ANYTHING out there that can touch it!

What's a Woo? I don't think I'm familiar with that knife? Who makes it?

Ahhhhhhahahahahahahahahaaaaaaa!

The Woo is a great knife! Here's my semi-famous and now retired "Frankenwoo."

I just picked up some Titanium Woo's from Newt and will be posting some comments and photos later.

I agree, I love my Woo. It ain't the prettiest knife around, but it damn sure works. During my last camping trip, the Woo was ended up being a throwing knife (We were bored, I figured at $25, I could replace it if it broke). We threw the Woo for hours, not a mark on it.
