Living with a scythe

is anyone here into using a scythe instead of mowing? I have been reading about it and am becoming quite enamored with the idea of sharpening up the old scythe and taking down the fresh grass.--- tell me if you are already involved in this or would like to be!

I've had one in the past and used it. It's quite a different effect from a modern lawnmower. It works best on taller stuff so it's not really the thing for maintaining a manicured lawn. However, if you want to whack down tall weeds and grass it gets the job done and is quite a bit of fun.
