Living With The Ti-Millie

I've had my Titanium Military for a month or so now. Wasn't 100% sure about it at first - I like G10 a lot and the textured carbon fiber even more. In my search for the perfect knife I think I've concluded that it doesn't exist, but the Ti-Millie might be "it" if I could only have one.
I'm a minimalist and frame-locks fit right in with that. Nothing extra; just a beefy vault-like secure lock. Pretty sure it's not possible to do better.
The scales are smooth, but not "chalky" like some titanium examples. The shape of the Military creates the superior grip so I'm not sure that the texture of G10, etc. is needed.
The thing I like most about this titanium is that it's very smooth on and off IWB carry. Won't wear out my waistband over time and stays in place.
I'm a fan of tip-down. I just think it's safer and have no problem with rapid deployment for when the SHTF (which seems likely these days).
I also carry in the pocket at times in a perfect sized zippered pouch. Fits nicely in any pocket with no trouble at all.
In summary - IS GOOD!!!. An added bonus is the extreme pointiness and sharpness of the S30V blade. Mine's perfectly centered and smooth as can be. Hopefully they're all like that and I'll be they are.
Thanks for listening.

I haven't operated mine enough for it to feel smooth as can be. I agree in all your other observations. At first the detent on mine was so strong I almost couldn't open it one handed with the Thumbhole. I had to get extra purchase on the clip for leverage. I haven't carried mine yet but the detent started to loosen up after just a few dozen openings.

I think where the Ti Military feels funny to me is comparing it to the Sage 2. Now I'm not comparing apples for apples and that is exactly my point. I almost wonder if the lockbar side is too long on the Ti Military to NOT have a Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer on it.

Compared to the Sage 2, which has a much shorter lockbar, unlocking the Sage 2 feels firm and secure and it works one handed as well as any great Ti lockbar while unlocking the Ti Military, the lockbar has a spongy feeling to it, almost like you feel like you could bend it too much with your thumb or the lockbar could over-extend under some hard use situations or just being careless when unlocking the knife.

I'm a huge fan of the Spyderco Military and will have one form or another for as long as I live or as long as they are available but I'm still up in the air about the current iteration of the Ti Military. I know a Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer would add weight but something tells me a Ti Military shouldn't be concerned about a few extra grams at this point.
