Lizards in damascus WIP

Hello everyone.
I would like show you my the most demanding damascus project.
The lizards were cuted on wire EDM machine. unbelievable machine.
At forging was a small deformation pattern but lizards are know.

Very cool ohh wait that was already said :D.

What steels did you use? And is the twist a "W"Pattern?
 
VERY cool indeed! The capabilities of an EDM machine are impressive. Hope to see the finished damascus.

Steel is czech tool steel 19312 equivalent O2 and bohler K600 nickelsteel
On edge is twist W.
EDM is cool machine. I would want have it at home.:cool:

I don´t know all story. Power hammer is made sometime after WW1. It´s czech machine.It was in village smithy and when came communism in 1948 all craftsmen had to deliver machines and workshops but this power hammer stayed in forge. After 60 years I bought it by smith grandson.

Hello everybody
I didn´t make much pics. i hadn´t camera in workshop.
And yesterday come small alien into my workshop. Small kitten.:D So now I have colleague, but it do more harm than good.:confused:

The shop kitty is very cute! The knife is coming along nicely - looking forward to more.

I did see the knife at the Gembloux knife show in Belgium
and I can say it came aut verry good butiful contrast in the damascus and a well made folding knife !
verry nice man too ,
