Has anyone tried stabilizing small reptiles?
My theory is to dry them out by burying them in salt and then pop them in the stabilizer?

Don't know about the salt, but you can have em freeze dried. Makes em nice and stiff.

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

I have a small tourista knife from Guatamala that I traded for, It is a clay overlay on leather. Part of the carving is a real nice Iguana, this is good work.
SOOOO, with all the gears going around in my head, and a plethera of small lizards running around my shop, well why not.
Jerry, I used to work with a Guy whose nickname was Lizard, it seems he was at a party and about half way through a bottle of tequilla somebody bet him he couldn't eat a lizard.
He said after it quit squirming it wasn't that bad!

Having problems dealing with unstable lizards are we? Sounds like a vaguely familiar pathology from my drinking days--somewhat past the stage of worrying about whether my drink had been properly stirred and approaching the stage of forgetting to use a glass altogether.

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila...
