I just wanted to let everyone know that I have created a webpage where you can download the entire Lloyd Harding CD all at once, or I divided it into 5 smaller downloads to make it easier for people with slower connectons. The Cd is great Reg Ellery done a great job with it. Here is the link. If you have any problems please email me asap. If you have any comments, typos, errors. Please let me know. Thanks

For some reason this has gotten lost in the threads. But thanks so much for offering this. I down loaded it all. It will take me months to go through it all, but it feels nice to have it available.

I just have to say that as someone who has made a few knives but is really just a beginner, those images are a fantastic source of inspiration. Looking at those pictures gets my mind going. Even if I don't make any knives from those drawings, I'm sure some will have been inspired. I can't believe what a generous gesture it is, both from the creator and his family, and also from those who have agreed to use their resources to make it freely available. The world needs more people like you! Thanks.
 
If you go to my site, I still have the complete download. But I added the whole CD as a photo Album for poeple with limited Bandwith. So now you can see All the Drawings and photos before you download it.

I cant help thinking as I'am really old and died in future. I would want someone like you to carry my work, my creations to others. It would make my life a little more meaningful. Like living in others' works.

Surely you make Mr. Harding live in future, in our works by inspiring us. Thank you for your unselfish and generous share. We all need someone like you...

I can't begin to express how much something of this magnitude means to someone like myself... the proverbial 'greenhorn'. I just glanced through the templates and those alone are a goldmine for me. I am truly humbled to be able to stand on the shoulders of such a giant...

This is such a great inspiration, to see all of this legendary work of one individual. Thanks to all those involved, this is outstanding.
 
Wil I have just revisited your site with the thumb nails. Absolutly fantastic.
Even My slow as you can get old banger computer and dial up was quick to get through the thumb nails and links to the larger views.

I appriciate the effort you have put into this site and the others who have also.

I remember you posting about this a while ago and couldn't find the thread in a search. I'm just starting in knife making and this will make for some excellent inspiration. My own designs are coming along but it will be nice to have a database to 'borrow' ideas from ;) .

I have mine up now as well, I just got them from Wil's site, I didn't get the cd yet Reg.

Great looking knife very clean. I like a full tang. Associated with the concept of information for new and established makers . I learnt howto do vine file work on full tans from Bruce EVANS site he has some great tutorials.

Incase you have not heard else where Wil Hurley's site was having a bit of trouble keeping up with the number of downloads.

Thanks Steve Wil, Kiwi and others who have been passing on the information in one way or another. I have been on 8 days of night shift and have not had a chance to get to the shed. I have 2 days now to get back to Lloyds 014 design I am making for Hilbilly Chuck.
 
WOW!!! I just saved this to my hard drive and it's gonna take quite a while to go through it all. This gent sounds like he was an incredible individual. Thanks for the opportunity.
