Hello. As I one of "these guys", I shall try to help you. It is simply long thread on our forum about Charge Ti, its improvements and troubles. About your items:

1) The person has bought Charge without Bit Kit and itself has made this adapter for standard bits.
2) In opinion of the author of this photo, Charge in such position is better it is suitable for self-defense. By the way, I do not think so. :)
3) Yes, but the owner of this Charge is satisfied.
4) It is a large photo of a condition of a cutting edge on absolutely new tool from shop.
5) It is an awl, made from serrated blade. Very useful.

P.S. Forgive me for my English, I seldom should use this language. Ask, if something seemed not clear.

Hi, guys.
Glad to see my awl mod here.
Another one (Siemon 110 blade to Charge's bit holder):

The 110 blade is a great idea! I wonder if there's any replacement parts out there that could allow it to have a spring/release/punchdown action?

Note:
I think I may have sounded a litle critical of your pictures, but didn't mean to be. I thought it looked like a ton of great information for LM owners. I just wish I could read Russian now.

I thought you used the straight blade to make the awl. That's what I didn't think was a good idea. Seems like you could still have made an awl out of the tip without sacrificing the whole serrated blade though.

Start posting some of that stuff here! Your english is fine for me compared to trying to translate Russian! :)

My 110 blade mod orient for "last cast", occasional usage. Don't need a punchdown function.

I think, partial removal of the serrated blade (for awl modification) is not a good idea in accordance with safety reasons. I was need a whole, solid, one-hand opening awl - and now I have it :)
