LM product life cycle-when's the new release?

Welcome Lito to Bladeforums..........a great place to ask questions, they are some really knowlegable posters here.
Leatherman made some major changes a couple of years ago and the following tools are what have been discontinued since day one

PST...replaced by the Kick
PST II...replaced by the Fuse
Flair....great model that became redundant when they released the Juice series with the cork screws.
Juice Pro
KF4
Mini Tool
Pulse...replaced by the Blast
Super Tool
Super Tool 200...both replaced with the Core
Wave....upgraded a couple years ago with the same name

I am not sure if there are more but that isn't too many changes in a company thats been around over 20 years.

p.s. I would love to see the Surge with the cm154 blade steel

Hello Lito Lapid, may I also welcome you to the Forums. Since you brought up the subject, I too am wondering when the product cycle for LM's is and how often. Albeit, there have been a lot of complaints recently about their "newer" products, some about their warranty policy even.

I also EDC a Surge and would like to change the jewellers/eyeglass screwdriver into something more useful like a bigger hex driver. And the suggestion for the clip-point knife to have the cm154 blade would be most welcome!

BTW, nice username. Are you that Senator, former Governor of a province from that tropical paradise of a country? See, I originally came from that little neck of the woods.

Josekym,
Opo, proudly Noypi! From the land of the Balisong. 'though I'm originally from Pampanga. Kumusta po kayo dyan? Umuulan pa ba? Regards sa lahat ng mga kababayan dyan.

I e-mailed Leatherman about the bits. Hoping they'll listen to my suggestion.

I also asked them to consider making a t-shank with a fine metal file on one side and a coarse metal file on the other.

If they sell the bits and the saw suggestions I'd be one very happy man.
