Replaced the Micra with a Squirt S4 thinking I would have quicker access to the other tools and maybe put less wear and tear on the back springs. The Micra's scissors were solid at the rivet but the Squirt's seem to wiggle a bit.

Anyone else experience this?

There's no problem with the scissors on my examples of the Squirt (or the Micra). One of my SOG Crosscuts had a similar problem though

Yes. I noticed my wife's Squirt S4 scissors were more loosely riveted than those on my Micra. The rivet seems secure, though, and Mrs. Z has no complaints. I believe the cause is thicker blades on the S4. They are curved slightly to work against each other. If the blades were pressed tighter, it would take more force to work them, possibly too much for comfort or effectiveness. Micra scissors are similar, but thinnner, so they can be closer to each other, making for a cleaner cut. That's why I prefer them, although the Squirt scissors actually seems more robust.

Thanks, Z for checking into that. I think I like the Micra more as well, but it sure is convenient having the tools on the outside...
