Hi all,
Just wondering, is it possible to adjust/loosen the screws that the tools pivot around to make them a little easier to get out? I've oiled and oiled those things (screwdriver, scissors, etc) and cannot get them to loosen up. Been trying for several months. So can you do it? Just curious.
Thanks,
Gray

You can do it yourself, but you'll need to buy some security torx bits that fit the lobes. Check first if your wave has the 5-point or 6-point torx variety, before plunking down the cash.

The screws are 6-point. My question is, why the screws have little posts in the center, will regular torx bits work?
thanks for replying.

You need 'security' or 'safety' torx bits, the post is there so that they are harder to take apart, and thusly cause more warranty claims for Leatherman. In short, if there is a post in the center it is not a standard torx screw.
