Do you have a LM Wave with loose handles? Do you like it that way? It makes for a neat Balisong type opening. But I don't like it all of the time and I want to tighten my handles. I notice the more I use the outside tools the looser the handles get.

I could send it in for warranty repair but then I would be out of a tool. (the Wave Tool anyways). Does anybody know the name of those fasteners? I did a search of Year 1 and this year a while back and couldn't find anything definitive. I thought it is was safety torx but those are 6 points and the Wave has 5 points. Has anybody found a source for bits to fit the LM Wave?

I may be wrong, but I think Leatherman is deliberately using proprietary bits. I can't imagine why.

On the PST II the bit is a special many-toothed socket which is likewise proprietary.

Why are you doing this, Leatherman??

I don't think Leatherman reads these forums. If you really want to ask Uncle Bill, you may want to try emailing them.
