I do like the little Wingman with its OHO blade, scissors and spring loaded pliers. However I don't like the short, soft combo blade.

Leatherman themselves state in their FAQ they will not do it:

For the larger Wave and Surge there are OEM 154cm and s30v blades:

Does anyone do this for the Wingman? I have toyed with the idea of buying a Sidekick just to swap the blades.

This has been a simple modification to my Wingman to create a thumb stud - upset a stainless screw into the hole. The obverse:

Of course I could just grind away the serrations, giving a shallower blade.

This guy modded a Sidekick to take an S30V Wave blade, among other things.

Great find - so there is a need to create a bushing to fit inside the larger Wave blade hole to allow it to pivot on the Sidekick/Wingman pin. I'll give it a try.

Keep all the bits so you can convert it back, If you need to get warranty work done, Zen imports is a good bunch, but you'll want to send a complete, stock tool to them.
