I took Connie to work this morning because I`m taking the Escape to get its oil changed today. It was -3 with the wind chill! So basically I`m not working in the shop, too much running around to do. Tomorrow I`ll start on the first orders for 2011.

Same here. Going to get the truck inspected and use up my leave that they will take away Jan. 1st. Its only 19 here but that damn wind is blowing hard!

Yes, it is too early in the winter to be this cold but with the right approach, its not too bad. Just remember to dress in layers and, if its super cold, I've heard that the pantsfire technique will keep you toasty! :)

Hi Stomper -

Man - you may never live down the pants-fire!

You need a model called the pantsfire! It would have to be made from denim micarta....

Enjoy your day off kinda-sorta!

I am burning up the last few vacation days that I have left from work - but I find plenty to do on those days.

I had last Monday off, and I moved shelves around in my garage and installed a new "closet organizer" deal so that I have a place to hang my coveralls, motorcycle gear, and boots etc.

I still have to get out and buy some more presents - just a couple, then I am all done with that except for the drinking!

I have laid in a nice supply of Jack Daniels and Sam Adams for the coming weeks.

best regards -
