Hello, I need to take my clip off of my sebenza to adjust the tension. The screw is unusually tight on it and I am just worried that I will strip it if there is loc-tite applied. Maybe I am just a girl.:o

Thanks.

Hello, take a soldering iron, use the tip to heat the screw up. This will loosen the loc tite and you should be able to get it out with no trouble

pretty sure crk advises against the use of loctite on any of the parts. i assume that means they dont apply any to the clip either.

id check with the shop first.

Are the screws usually so freaking tight? Maybe I'm just too hesitant. Lefty loosey right?! :p

went for it. It clicked too!
THanks!

ive taken mine apart several times. each time i have tightened the screws pretty tight. i have not experienced anything negative. never had a screw back out.

iirc, loctite often requires the screws to be drilled out if sent in to the shop.

hand tight will be fine.
