Well, my brand new large Sebenza 31 needs it or the pivot screw will back out.
Effing wonderful!
$550 and I have to Loc Tite the the effing pivot screw.
So let's document this:
What knife/knives that you own need loc tite on the screws?
LIST EM HERE!
Thanks.

I have used non permanent loc time on pivot screws that were die-hard back-outers
Ain't nothin wrong with that

How bout all them spendy knives (over $300)?

Yes. CRK, Hinderers, you name it, in particular if the Pivot is rotating freely. For example, for a Demko - even though I use 242 - I feel the need is less.

Screws subjected to rotational forces loosen over time. This is not new nor limited to knives. Until someone invents a Nylock pivot barrel, pivot screws are going to need loctite/vibratite/teflon tape/superglue/etc. Cleaning your screws really well with 99% isopropanol or acetone will remove any oils and residue and minimize the need for thread locker.

It's also easy to remove old loktite entirely by simply heating the screw/nut (carefully).
