My local 'sharp thing emporium', a locally owned sporting goods store, has cobwebs in their handgun display - and sparse long guns. They actually still get ammo - and price it fairly. An example from today's visit: Federal AutoMatch .22LR 325rd bricks - $19 - just like last summer. Last weekend's local gunshow had them, too - $40 up! Sadly, this past Christmas saw a freeze on knife prices - and it persists - with the odd store sale on specific knives. They had 0777's - on the shelf - $595 + 9% s/t. No, I didn't get one - my TILT is good enough for me. I did consider another 0560/561, however - my 0561 being a great knife - especially at their new 'sale' price. So, if you want an 0560 or 0561, and I assume that these are like my 0561, s/n <0200, and have the hex headed pivot screw, but I didn't look at the demo's, contact me off-line. Please don't contact me re their 0777's - they are gone.
I am fortunate to have such a local resource. I feel somewhat responsible, having shown their knife manager/salesman my first ZT - my 0301, from our very own kershawguy. He was so amazed, he said he would add more Kershaws and get some ZT's, too. They soon expanded the store - gave knives a huge display island. Wow! All subsequent Kershaws and ZT's I've bought came from them. I've also fondled some losers - like the MT 'copy'. I don't want to be accused of 'deal spotting' so I shouldn't identify them here - but, if you are in, near, or going through CA (Central Alabma!), contact me off the forum for more info.
