Local knife club

Has anybody here ever thought anbout making a local knife club? Not a knife makers club or a beckerhead club but a local knife club. Maybe once a month meet up somewhere and visit in person with others who want to talk about knives.

Maybe somebody host one month and then somebody else host the next month and so on and so on.

Maybe post on here that you will be hosting a get together on so and so day from what time to what time and at so and so park in so and so town and then anybody who wants to join that person's club they just show up and start visiting.

No corporate sponsors or knife stores sponsors but just guys who want to sit and talk about knives and sometimes take road trips to knife stores.

How many in the arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas 4 state area would like to meet and hang out.

pretty remote chance for a club.
(i miss hanging out...)
but i dunno,
just randomly bumping into
likeminded souls is pretty rare as it is.
guess that's why we make do with forums.

Well I guess this place is kind of cool but if anybody local want to meet to show off knives and talk about knives just let me know.
In these times it is hard to get together, everywhere is closed.

You're not the first person to suggest this. You would probably have a lot more luck joining an existing Rod & Gun club and meeting local folks who are also knife fans.
