Anyways, a short compilation of some of my playground.
Doing the fire prep, found this cedar dead and standing, the best kind of fire wood, dry!
Add some sparks and you have lunch.
Trail along a local creek to the beach
There a truck in there somewhere, this area used to be a major coastal logging camp, lots of old bush relics from days gone buy to find.
There is a log sort at the end of the trail, this area holds all the specially high grade/value timber. This is a cedar log destined for a First Nations totem pole. The knife is my Buck Vanguard with an AOL of 8.5 inches, quite a substantial stick.
A local lake, quite a big one.
Road Chicken, this one escaped the roasting spit...
My favorite summer spot
Some sweet geo-cashing bling.
My connection to the bush when I'm stuck in the office.
