Local pick up?

I live about 20 minutes away from the Busse factory. Is it possible to pick up my order rather than pay for shipping to a few zip codes over?

I've wondered the same thing. I don't care about the shipping costs, I'd just like to visit the "factory". According to the Harley Davidson ride planner, from my house to Busse is 146.5 miles and a 2 hour and 40 minute ride. Would be a nice spring/summer ride for me. Like a "pilgramage" to the promised land.:D
 
How cool would it be to have a "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" scenario,, where a select few people won a chance to go inside and see how everything is done,, and then the grand finale would be you get to choose something from the vaults (I assume in my fantasies there is a room with one of every Busse made, on display, behind a 9 foot vault door).
 
I have read and heard from Busse that they are a closed shop.

Now I have heard that Jerry has met folks at the local eatery and met with them but he is very busy with creating and his family so that may be a toughy ?

The Busse Combat Knife Werx is Ohio's version of Area 51....You can't get there from Anywhere....:eek:

roenman has met Jerry for lunch at a nearby prime rib restaurant.

There have been a few pics of the offices, and production areas.

Satellite imagery might be your friend.

....the shop is in a no fly zone.... Even for satellites.... Busse carries a lot of weight, even in the white house:D
 
Why do you think that Jerry has a target range on premises and keeps the crews' shooting skills at peak???:D

It used to be at idahoskunk's place. Wonder if he will ever open the vaults and sell off some knives?
