Not really sure what to make of it. I was really looking forward to this but it is smaller in handle than I anticipated. Also the scales are slick. I juxtaposed it with both an Osborne and the orange Bailout and both have significantly more purchase. It has about a half inch more cutting edge than a Spyderco Dragonfly Wharncliffe. I think if the handle was a bit closer to a Delica in size it would resonate with me. I like the Green one by a mile

It's definitely a small knife, even smaller than a Mini Bugout. I'd say it's targeted at those forced to carry a blade of less than 2.5 inches, and those who just like small knives in general. I can understand why Benchmade wants to tap the <2.5in market, and also California's <2in auto market with the Partial Immunity. I'm definitely intrigued by it. But I also wonder if we could see a larger version down the road. A ~3.5in version would be cool.

I even get the blade length, just not the handle size. Also it is double the weight of a Mini Bugout. I oddly still want one but this one could have been perfect with grippier scales that weighed a bit less and was about 1/2 to 3/4 inch longer.

I think it's in a similar market to the Pro-Tech SBR. It's a compact and beefy auto around 2.5". It's a great knife and not really a slicey thing, it's thicc.
