Local sources for Moras?

I have become curious about Mora knives (such as Frost's), but I would rather handle and buy in person than by mail. Are there any local stores that are likely to carry these? I live in North Carolina. Would any places like WalMart or Home Depot, etc. be likely to stock them?

Ive been looking to , here in Mo. Cant find one anywhere. Even been to bass pro and cabelas with no luck.

Ragnars is the place to look. It seems to stock nearly everything Scadanavian! And with great sevie to boot!

Dunno where in NC you are, but if you're near I40 on the western end you could always drive over to Sevierville and stop in at the Smoky Mountain Knife Works store. They have the Frosts Clippers and Military knives in stock. I don't remember if they have the traditional wooden handled moras or not.

They're so inexpensive and well-regarded that I never hesitated to buy online. And I bet you'll not find any place local with the selection, service, or prices that Ragweed Forge offers.

Good Luck!

Well one thing nice about Moras is that theyre so cheap you can order a variety of them and try them out. I got several different ones - plastic handle, wood handle, carbon steel, stainless, etc. - -
Got mine from Ragweed Forge.

I live in the East (Raleigh area), so that would be very far for me, but in an incredible coincidence, I happen to be planning a vacation in Sevierville next month and that is when I wanted to use the knife. Great tip. Thanks. And thanks to everyone for all the great suggestions.

(BTW, I've never been to Sevierville and know nothing about it. My wife and I will be there for 3-4 days. Any suggestions on what to see/do? You can PM me. Thanks.)
