The weather has finally turned good here so Mrs Pit and I decided to take a walk in our local woods....
Along the way we nibbled at some of the local edibles such as this Miners Lettuce...
The Salal berries are not yet ready...
There were loads of Oregon Grape which are quite bitter but I find find them ok to nibble on now and again...
We found some Salmon Berries as well which went down well but I didn't take a pic thinking I would find loads more, so I'll cheat here and use a pic I took last week....
After a while we took a well earned rest...
With my dog on lookout we chilled out before returning to the parking lot....
