There was a fairly long thread about strops either here or in shop Talk a couple of weeks ago. There was enough information that you could make yourself a very good one.

At the Raleigh, NC Gun and Knife Show Bill Maynard, a maker from Fayetteville, NC had some strops made up. You can contact him through www.edgy-tools.com. They are carrying some of his knives. He is a very interesting person, I am sure he can help you out.
