Location of blade engraving, and grind lines, change year to year?

I recently bought a pair of S30v Military's from a large site, that does NOT specialize in knives. I got a great deal, but not so great that it is obviously a fake. The knives were bought directly from the site, not a sub-seller.

Date codes on boxes are LN and FO, which I understand were built 6 months apart or so. What I'm curious about is the positioning of the lettering on the blades - the placement is slightly different, the same size and font but the locations are a bit off. Also, the grind lines, where the flat portion of the blade starts, is off slightly from knife to knife where you can see the line at the top of the Spyderhole. The plunge lines are flat, the jimping looks right, and the lockside liners are bead blasted as they should be so I'm really not concerned that the knives could be fakes.

Are these variations typical, as things change over the years/months?
