Locations Info.

Why is it that most of the new members on the board don't put in their location info? Are they paranoid or something? What's your thought in this?

I sometimes find it hard to answer a question without knowing the location of the poster, especially regarding the legal side of the knives questions.

Should the Forum make it mandatory for the location and other displayed info be registered?

I guess there is a reason for everything. Who knows why some people don't put there info there. Personally that doesn't bother me, the no e-mail thing bugs me. I understand protecting your account from spam and whatnot, but how about opening a free yahoo account to list or something?? I can't count the number of times I wanted to contact someone about something and there e-mail wasn't listed.
