After a 2+ year wait, the lochsa that I ordered from Scott Cook arrived this week. A very impressive folder-well worth the wait!!:D

That's really nice.

I just spoke to Scott this morning. Among other things, we talked about the Damascus on the two knives I'm considering when my turn comes up.

Congrats on the Lochsa!! I agree that the 2 + years wait IS so worth it. That is a real coool knife you have there.

Did you get that "screwdriver" for lack of a better term, with the Lochsa.Mine did'nt come with one.Any it is a great folder.Yhe next step in the evolution of the Sebenza.

Don't mean to butt in but, yes, the tool to undo the screw is included with the knife. At least it was with mine.

The Lochsa is sooooo COOOOOOL. Congrats! So, is it going to be a user or a safe queen.

I was looking forward to seeing what Scott was bringing to BLADE this year but unless I am mistaken I did not see his name on the Table Holders list. :(
Hope he makes it next year.

It will be a "part-time" user-this knife wasn't made to sit in a safe unused!!;)

Good for you!! I buy knives to use. But,not everyone does. I think the Lochsa BEGS to be used. I am glad to hear that you ARE going to use it.

I love these models by Scott.

  • The design and materials appeal to me and Scott's execution is as close to perfect as it gets. After two years, I still can not find even the most minor of flaws and I am still just as impressed with it as I was the first day I had it.
  • Scott is one heck of a nice person (knives aside).
  • Best clip design I have encountered. When I use this knife, it is difficult to tell there is a clip on there and it does not interfer with my purchase on the handle and I hate clips as a rule.
Safe queen, in my case, no way. The enjoyment of this knife stems from it's use as far as I am concerned. I am anxious for the smaller version.

Very nice. It's been almost two years for me, still no knife. I hope he hasn't forgotten about my order!

I met Scott many years ago before his employment with Chris Reeves. He had a table at a gun show next to my friends table that we were helping out at. Great guy, great knives!
I had him build a knife for me, this is what he sent me......:D

I really like my Lochsa. It's the only custom folder I carry besides my Sebbies. Very nice folder.

Here's a pic of my Lochsa. Scott put in a MOP pivot and a 14kt thumbstud. Very well made knife.
