When making the blade notch do you leave the the notch with 90 degree angles or do you put in an angle at the rear of the notch?

Gearing up to make lock backs and getting mix info.

What seems to work best for you?

I mill my locks, I use a 5 deg for the front and a 3 deg for the rear of the lock. Tapered end mills.

Forgot to mention also mill the lock bars with the same end mills. Test fit as you sneak up on final damintion. Get them to just engage and then final fit in the knife.

SBuzek SBuzek Thanks for the advice.
Kinda surprised no one else responded. I guess there are few lock back folder makers here
