Sweet! I like it. Who did you get the mammoth molar from? It's got great color.

It's fine the way it is, but it'd make a nice canvas for engraving, possibly a nice bat in flight :)
 
Beautiful. Particularly like the satisfying click as blade locks in place. Aesthetics are flawless.

I have to ask... how much does something like that go for?

I color and stabilize the mammoth molar.

A knife like that is around 900$. The price may vary depending on the materials.

As someone interested in chemistry, what chemical(s) do you use for that beautiful color. If it's a secret recipe, don't tell :)
 
Thanks for sharing that. I asked one of the major suppliers at a Guild show how they got the color in the mammoth and they wouldn't say.
