Lock bar tension adjustment

Anyone have tips for adjusting lockbar tension on framelocks?

I've increased the tension on a few knives but I'm very tempted to try and decrease the lockbar tension on my Spyderco Nirvana. I'm hesitant due to the integral construction, since it make increasing tension is basically impossible.
