Lock play in Buck 560...?

I have one of the newer Buck 560's with the crystal finish and I've noticed that there's considerable verticle blade play. I see that the notch where the rocker bar locks in is somewhat rounded on both my 560 and 110, so I'm thinking that maybe it's just made that way.

I was wondering about other peoples' experiences with this knife regarding lock strength. I love the ergonomics and overall design and that titanium handle has to be one of the strongest i've ever seen on any folder, but does the lock do it justice?

i carry a 560 most all the time and it gets used alot,have never had any problem with the lock-up and mine has some play too

Sounds like you got a lemon. I'd take them up on their warrenty, as a lose lock is a definite safety hazard. I don't think you'll have much of a problem, and they'll probably just send you a new knife.
