As far as longevity and wear goes, what is the best lock??

I heard compression,my favorite. How long would a liner lock last on a military??

I have 4 millies, the leaf spring on some are farther towards the center of the blade tang then the others, wouldn't that give more room for wear??

thx gine.

I wouldn't worry about longevity. As you develop into a true knife knut, you will accumulate more knives than an army can wear out.

Any well made lock will last a long time. People have had their Militaries for 5+ years and no problems with lockup.

Personally, I think that a well fitted back lock might have the most longevity.

Something that's not a liner.... lol

I would say Axis and back locks.
