I've got a small burr on the lock face of my Sebbie and it won't engage with the tang of the blade. I hate to let it go, but what is the quickest way to get the ball rolling for a repair. I feel sick, It's been on my side for a few years now and I feel naked without it. What is that portion of the lock hardened to anyway?

Your best bet is to call CRK directly and explain your situation. That will get the ball rolling.

Ken's right, contact CRK and have it fixed right. If you think you are sick now, just think how sick you would be if you attempted to fix it yourself and messed it up beyond repair. It might not be practical for you but I think it's a very good idea to have a backup Seb. The idea of me not having a Seb or a Mnandi with me is not pleasant. Good luck. ;)

CRK has the best customer service folks in the business. They'll take good care of you and your Sebbie. ;)

I have the same sickness as most of us here, I have to buy 2 of everything! Thank god for back-ups.
