Just wanted to run somerhing by yall. Recently i forced a patina with apple cider on a 15V pm3. Its my first time doing it to 15v or to a pm3. The entire disassembled blade was inserted in the vinegar. The patina did exactly what i wanted, i only had it submerged for 8min. It was a risk to dip the pivot and i know that, so i did get more lockstick than usual where the liner touches the tang of the blade. Im assuming this is just patina? Has anyone solved this? I already lubed and cleaned. I want to ask before i take 2000 grit to that contact point to polish it and lube it.

Lock stick on comp locks is normally the lock bar on the stop pin, not the lock bar on the blade tang. The solution that works to me is use a rat tail file to smooth the lock bar where it hits the stop pin.

Although the start corresponds to you adding patina, it also corresponds to disassembly, and just that can cause lock stick as above (from the parts shifting a bit in the process). I'd guess it's that still.
