Lockback Knife Will Not Close

I have a new lockback knife that will not close. I use the release closed once or twice but now stuck in open position. Feels like the release works and the blade is loose but will not come down and close. Help!

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are talking about, but have you tried to lubricate it? maybe with a very viscous oil, and then try to put some pressure on the lock.

Take it apart if it is held together with screws. If not, at least shine a light inside it to see if there is some kind of obstruction you can remove or some corrosion you can clean up.
