Lockback Military?

If you can find one, the large Calypso is one option, as is the flat-ground G10 Police model. Both are discontinued.

We're working on a concept model which was requested by a Canadian Law enforcement professional.

I love how Sal is so casual about dropping huge news like that. A lockback Military would almost ultimate, with ultimate already being taken by the flat ground Chinook II.

It would be great too if the blade is just a hair under 4 inches instead of actually four inches - can carry it in many more places.

Similar to when Darryl Ralph designed the original Camillus EDC blade at 2-31/32 inches to keep it as close to 3 inches as possible without actually being 3 inches.

Benchmade's AFCK, TSEK and 710, also as examples, had/have blades just a hair under four inches.

A user probably won't notice or care as much about a blade being 3.93" or 3.97", let's say, as would a LEO or judge in a place where 4" is illegal. And there are plenty of people/potential buyers living in such places.

Finally, an advantage to being in Canada where we don't have a length limit. Of course, if it can be flicked open it won't make it through Customs.

Manix, great knife and super strong, but considerably heavier than the Military.

After being off-line for a couple of days, I basically JUMPED from my seat when I saw this (add Mr. Glesser's hint above)! It would probably raise the bar for the most awesome EDC ever!
