I know many folks here do not venture over to traditional sub-forum often so I thought I would post a few pictures of a just completed knife.
Lockback whittlers are typically one of the hardest knives us traditional makers make, and this one was no exception. Combining both a locking master blade and two small secondary slipjoint blades with tight tolerances makes these knives favorite of collectors and the bane of makers.

This knife is 3 5/8 closed, 1/4 inch shorter than the the popular TB/Case rendition. Re-purposed antique T shell backed up with 22k gold leaf. CPM154 blades and springs/410 integral bolsters/frames with a bit of coining on the open well side.

Thanks for the looks!

WOW Ken, That is really nice. Very clean and well executed. I know I would be very proud to own it. Also really like the that pattern.

That's just perfect! A favorite pattern with those specific blades, the perfect pocket size, and tortoise. It's hard to see how that could be better.

I am in love. Everything about it works for me.

Thanks for the very kind comments on this knife! They are much appreciated.

Really nice looking and I love the Re-purposed antique T shell backed up with 22k gold leaf. Makes me smile because it's just so right.

Thanks for sharing Mitch

Wonderful in every respect. I hope you and your traditional maker colleagues post more here in the future. Custom and handmade should cover all knives, whether slip-joint, "tactical" folder or fixed-blade. More variety is good. Thank you.

Wow!
I've never bought a traditional knife before but I've been searching for one that calls to me for years. That calls to me, what a beauty!
Thank you for sharing it with us.

Wow! Would have blown my socks right off if I was wearing any!

Tortoise she'll is one of my favorite cover materials to look at. Just looks genuinely fancy and still warm to look at!

The combo of blade shapes, coined liners and lock back just gets my covetousness meter going!

Whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

just whew

I'm breaking out in a sweat here.

lovely

Great job

Corey
