I know many folks here do not venture over to traditional sub-forum often so I thought I would post a few pictures of a just completed knife.
Lockback whittlers are typically one of the hardest knives us traditional makers make, and this one was no exception.
Combining both a locking master blade and two small secondary slipjoint blades with tight tolerances makes these knives favorite of collectors and the bane of makers.
This knife is 3 5/8 closed, 1/4 inch shorter than the the popular TB/Case rendition. Re-purposed antique T shell backed up with 22k gold leaf. CPM154 blades and springs/410 integral bolsters/frames with a bit of coining on the open well side.
Thanks for the looks!
