I just made two of them, one with O1 blade and Jacaranda inlays (#1), the other one with RWL34 blade, CF and orange G10 inlays. Both with hardened SS frames. As you can see, they haven't the same shape, yet same size, 3 1/2" blade. They are the first lockbacks I've ever made and all input from you will be very appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Outstanding work, Gus......you've really got those inlays down!!!

I really like everything that I have seen of yours. Those lockbacks are really nice.

good looking lines on those. I especially like how you matched the sweeping grind line on the bolsters with the spine of the blade when closed on the G-10 one. Very nice. I really like the look on the lock release, but I would have to try it out and see if it was too easy to disengage the lock while in use. I am used to lock backs having more protection around the disengage portion.

Great work.

I am generally not a fan of lock backs, but I LOVE yours. That CF & orange one is amazing. I love it. You did a great job, as usual.

beautiful work.

Beautiful, Gus. Always 'untraditional' even when making traditional pieces.

I mentioined your name to Don Guild this evening over dinner (very respected high-end dealer/collector). We were talking about new makers who are trendsetters. He wrote your name down. :)

Your knives make waves. Keep it up!

Great work Gus. Your knives have a distinct "look" which is important for a maker.

Really like them and I do like lock backs. Just think the GTC is to big for the blade.
