Lockbar travel from waving?

Hi all,

Just bought a CQC-8 and find it to be an awesome knife. For those of you who do a lot of wave opening - does the lockbar gradually travel towards the opposite side of the knife because of using the wave action? I was wondering what this might do to the longevity of the locking mechanism.

This may have been discussed before, but I appreciate any input you have.

liner locks wear like that and imho the wear is accelerated by waving or inertia opening, EKI's are no better/no worse than anyone elses LL, ya are dealing with tight tolerances, if its going way to the side ya need to keep an eye on it, make sure its still locking up right, LIGHTLY tap it on your palm or on a carpeted floor and look and see if its still locking, if it is no problem, if not send it in to EKI and they will adjust/replace it for ya for usually the cost of shipping.

but yes waving accelerates the wear and no its not a good thing.
