Locking bar question

I was looking at my large Insingo today :D, and I noticed that the lockbar does NOT have a bearing "ball" imbedded in it to help facilitate smooth operation (similar to practically every other framelock that I have ever seen). I was a little surprised, although it is still the smoothest folder I have ever owned. Is this normal??? Thanks.

There is a detent ball located on the inside of the locking bar of the Sebenza 21. Its purpose is to hold the blade in the closed position.
The Sebenza 21 does not have a ceramic ball on the locking bar face. However the new Sebenza 25, which will be available soon and is the next generation Sebenza, will have a ceramic ball located in the end of the locking bar to facilitate smoother operation.
I hope this helps. :)

Upon closer examination (using my Surefire to assist these aging eyes), I noticed the detent ball (very small, offwhite in color) on the inside face of the lockbar. I bought this Insingo from an authorized dealer..., so I wasn't particularly worried about it; however, I just thought it unusual. I apologize for any confusion caused by the mistake. Just like everything else about this knife, it's just so well done to go unnoticed.:) THANKS.

There's a small hole drilled on the interior face of the lockbar with a ceramic ball pressed into it. Look closely at the heat treated portion of the lockbar and you'll find a hole with the embedded ball, if the ball's not in the hole that's a problem.
