I've been looking into friction folders a lot lately and this idea came to mind. The idea of extreme hard use folders is very popular these days I was thinking, why not make a Ti frame lock with an extended tang like a friction folder? I know it would make for a more awkward carry/opening and the stop pin would probably get in the way, but could it be worth it? I think it would without a doubt make the knife stronger and be able to withstand more prying, and hard use. What do you guys think? Has anyone done this before?
