Hey fellas - this sounds like a rookie question, but I don't know the answer to it...:o

Is there anyone making locking Sodbusters and/or Jr. ? If so, who?

Pics would be cool!

:thumbup:Thanks in advance fellas.

There are also several brands coming out of China that have either liner locks or are back locks. Quality is not bad on these...rather good actually. Rough Rider does both types and Indian head does a liner lock.

Also you can start the search for a Case Sodbuster with a liner lock...these had the same model number as the regular Sodbuster followed by an L. These have long been discontinued but do show up for sale occasionally.

Great info - I should have specified that I was looking for one with a back lock.

Thanks again fellas!

He's looking for a lockback.

They are available, but they're not very common. Here's a Henckels that I picked up a few months back.

Absintheur, that Eye Brand lockback is very decent looking:thumbup:

Are they still around and could you state approx size?

Thanks, W

The Eye Brand sodbuster is still available, but can be a bit hard to find at times. IIRC it's a big knife at around 4 3/4" closed.
