Locking wharncliffe with stainless blade?

Anyone know of any? I would like to add a wharncliffe to my collection, but so far I've only been able to find either a locking with carbon blade, or a stainless non-locking.

Case used to make their Copperlock knife with a single Wharncliffe. You may be able to find those on auction sites. If you're looking for current production, Great Eastern Cutlery makes a model #72 lockback under their Northfield and Tidioute brand names. It is offered in a Wharncliffe blade and there are some available through dealers currently.

Edit:

Oops, the GEC models are only in carbon steel, sorry.

Kershaw made (now discontinued?) a variation of their Grant County lockback with a sheepsfoot. Dunno how good they are, but you can still find them out in the commercesphere.

Hope that helps,

Search for '61549W L SS', which is the pattern number for Case's limited-run Copperlock in stainless, with a wharncliffe blade. Should still be some out there, in various styles/colors of bone handles. Case also made a CV version with yellow delrin (31549W L CV).

GEC did have a run of the #72 lockbacks with wharncliffe blades in 440C. I had one from 2011 but don't know if there's been another batch since.
