Locktite for hardware?

This may seem like a stupid question, but what type of locktite do you use to keep your knife hardware from coming lose? My Spydie Dragonfly H1's pivot screw won't stay tight, and I want to use some locktite to keep it in place. Any advice would be appreciated!

The blue kind like this....

Blue. Be sure to clean the screw with solvent to take any residual grease or oil off, then dry thoroughly before applying the LocTite. I use blue on my Sebbie.

I don't typically use thread locker unless I need it (sounds like you need it) I was surprised when I took apart a cheap Cold Steel knife the other day, though, because they had loc tited every fastener.

I always use blue, just picked some up today. Just make sure you use a small amount...it doesn't take much

I use a tooth pick, bent paper clip, or needle to apply Loktite.

I put a piece of tape on my work bench and put a small drop of Loctite on it. Then I use the tooth pick to pick up a little bead of it to apply to the part. This keeps me from putting too much on.

I prefer the green Loctite or equivalent for most applications where vibration isn't an issue.

I use blue.

I think red requires using heat to remove it, and purple is for the situations where you can't remove the screw and need a runnier solution to seep between the threads.

There's some good info somewhere on the web.

Also keep in mind that if you use a thread locker that is not made by Loctite, the colors don't match. Brand X's red thread locker may not be "high strength," blue may not be "removable", etc. It probably goes without saying, but always look at the label.
