Locktite on pivot screws...

Greetings all. I' ve noticed that on all of the current production Emerson folders that I' ve handled, the pivot screw can be adjusted by simply using your thumbnail. Are the tension not preset at the factory and then locktited? With much use I feel that the screw will back off, neccessitating adjusting on a regular basis. What are the manufacturers recommendations?

I've had the same problem with my Commander, I wrapped the screw with some teflon tape and it seems to help.
