Locktite question

I have a new Cheburkov Strizh. It is a linerlock with carbon fiber scales. I assume the fasteners were installed with Red Locktite.

The action was very stiff. Dozens of flips later it still was. So I got my Torx sets out and removed all but one screw: a pivot side. It won't budge.

Everywhere I look the advice is to heat the screw head. Locktite has a video where they advise using a blowtorch to heat the material to 550F.

How does one do that when heat would likely damage the scale material?

Incidentally, it's flipping much better now with all but one pivot side screw removed. But I'd still like get that pivot screw out for a complete inspection and cleaning.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Some use a soldering iron or even a hairdryer. On the occasion I disassemble something usually starts with washing in very hot soapy water. Just that is usually enough.

Thanks. I'll try hot water and report back. If that doesn't work I'll use a soldering iron.

Now I see it runs on washers, so a couple drops of Nano oil and now it flips like it should.
