I've got the medium strength thread-lock that's removable with hand tools, but no instructions came with it.

My question is, what is the working time of it, and how long do you have to let it sit before it's ready?

Thanks -chris

If your talking about the blue thread locker, just put a little on the bolt threads and tighten up. I don't know how long it takes to set up, but it has to be pretty fast as I've usally put what ever I'm working on to work right after putting my tools up. As for working time, if I'm test fitting parts, I don't put it on till I'm ready for final asembly. However, I have put a bolt on and then had to remove it a few minits later and had no trouble. It's not like super glue.

If you have the red thread locker, don't use it on anything you cant get a torch or big wrench on, unless you never want it to come loose. You could strip out or break screws.

Oh, it wouldn't hurt for the threads to be clean, but I have used it on some rather greasy parts without trouble.

Hope this helps
