Need to find the same blue threaded liquid boker uses on there screws. Went to show off my second Kalashnikov to a friend and a screw fell out :( and is MIA at the beach. (Sure glad she didn't laph at meh we did try to find it).
 
Free tip: be sure to clean and get any oil or crud off of the threads to ensure the Loc tite will hold the screw. You can also steal a drop of fingernail polish from your girlfriend and it works very well also. Make sure to get the blue Loc tite - not the red. Red is semi permanent. It requires heat to break it loose again. It will state on the bottle if it is a permanent thread locker or not.
 
Loctite blue 242 is for screws 1/4" and larger. Loctite pink is for screws under 1/4". You can check this on their web site. Blue has been used by many for the pivot screw with good results and is much easier to find at a local hardware store then #222. I have used both for many years on high speed machinery. Devcon also makes a blue threadlocker which is also service removable. Rated on the package at 1600 psi. A small tube cost about $3.25 in a hardware store.
 
Home Depot has loctite, but not where you would expect to find it (at least not at the two I have nearest to me). The two Home Depot's I go to have the loctite and super glue in the same aisle as the spray paint and drop cloths for painting projects, nowhere near the hardware or tools, or lubricants.
 
And be careful about the color thing. Blue is correct. However, the Loc-Tite brand has all their products in a little red tube. Another brand, the name of which escapes me, uses blue tubes. Very confusing. So I buy the brand where the color of the tube matches so I don't goof up. Look carefully at the package. You will see a red tube that says "blue"...very confusing.

Alright so i'm going to go to the homedepot today and find MEDIUM blue Loctite brand.
As soon as my parts get here for my 3rd boker kalash i can do the mods and loctite all the screws.
(already fixed the one that was missing a screw).

IT is safe to assume #243 is a thicker liquid so in general i should use the tip of a tooth pick or one thread of horse hair to apply the thread locker on the small screws
 
Watch out for two things:

1. Don't accidentally use RED loctite instead of blue. It makes a connection that is very hard to pop loose. There is also PURPLE loctite which is for a low-adhesion temporary bond. It works well, but sometimes works loose...

2. If you are working around the pivot of a folder, including the clip screws - use very very very little loctite. If any of it drips down into the tang of the blade, it will gum it up pretty badly.
