I'm about ready to buy fresh adhesive and trying to decide between more Depend 330 and giving E-120 a try.

Glue wars and some other threads answered most of my questions but I still have one sticking point. Are the tips 50ml capacity? Meaning, every time I use it I'm throwing away 1/5 of the tube as waste? Given how I work that's a real kick in the pants. I very often am gluing up one knife at a time and I'd hate to be throwing away more glue than I'm using each time.
I've been using the 330 syringe and it's easy to avoid significant waste and the 25ml goes a long way. The cost per tube is high, but on a per knife basis it's very reasonable. I was just hoping to get a little more working time and the E-120 gets really good reviews from folks here and elsewhere.

The tips are no where near to 1/5 of a tube. Like you, I frequently glue one knife at a time
and seldom more than two. A cartridge lasts quite a while but it's good to have a spare, at
least for me because I have trouble telling just when one is about to run out.

Great. Thank you. The description on them all says 50ml so it had me worried. It didn't look like it would hold that much with the mixing spiral, but I figured it was safer to ask.
The spare cartridge was what made the 120 so appealing, at about $12 a tube it's not that expensive and if I buy a new tube when I know I'm about halfway through... The cost of the 330 always made that kind of annoying since even this kind of adhesive has a limited shelf life.

Much appreciated, Dan. I guess it's time to make that order.

I've used the E-120HP. I just skipped the tip and squirted out the appropriate amount and mixed it on a piece of plastic (dead Starbuck's Card) with a popsickle stick or craft stick as they now call them.

I haven't done any abuse testing yet, but I got my glue and hardware in and glued some G10 liners to G10 and Micarta scales for use tomorrow or Friday. I have to say, it was VERY easy to apply, nice and smooth consistency. Just about perfect viscosity. It's not runny, and stays where you put it, but it is very easy to spread out. I use a bit of surface grinding just to recess the center of my tangs very slightly, plus lightening holes. I expect this glue will give an invisible glue line with that setup without any trouble at all. I'll report back on my end results and plan to do some torture testing soon as well. I've got a nice big blade I plan to finish up for myself and then beat the snot out of.
