Loctite on Micarta

I want to use blue loctite on a fixed blade but there are no Chicago bolts on the scales as the screws go directly in the micarta handle. Would loctite be ok for this?

I think Loctite works on metal surfaces but not plastic.
Guess metal is required for curing.

Loctite will work fine.

Just worried it will damage the micarta but I’ll give it a go.

Just wipe off any excess. Micarta stands up to pretty well anything.
